What do you think of when you hear the word "Inventor?"
Around the world, women have greatly contributed to many amazing inventions. Yet, many of us still find it hard to name a single woman inventor. We created STEMinist Gallery, a virtual reality experience honoring women inventors.
I had the amazing opportunity to create this small project with Ines Said, a Software Engineer at UF Digital Worlds Institute in honor of Women's History Month.

VR offers users the ability to travel to new places and times through the universe. PIXEL WEATHER tests the limit of the High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) and its ability to deliver HIGH DISPLAY FIDELITY through advanced graphics and special effects. By implementing the use of Unity’s VFX and Shader Graphs, the user experiences what it would be like to walk the streets of Japan through different seasons and weather conditions. IMMERSION being the key influence of the experience, vividness of the surroundings holds the most significance to stimulating the player’s sensory receptors. The player is able to move throughout each environment freely, testing the extent of PRESENCE. However, while maintaining high PLACE ILLUSION, each scene forms a visual boundary that deters the player from venturing too far from the initiation point.
