Basecamp serves the clients of SHIFT as a place to come back to at each point to strategically modify, adjust and reconstruct their organizations into innovative companies. SHIFT encourages a collaborative environment that focuses on creativity and cross-pollination, while also perpetually moving towards innovative change. Agile furniture in conjunction with adaptable team zones allows for open communication and informal interactions, promoting abstract thinking and comfort. Centralizing the hub of basecamp, the topography of Atlanta was used to highlight along the ceiling, providing not only unique lighting but also a sense of home, throughout all phases of their client's company reorganization. Due to Atlanta's sustainable city standard, the native woods found throughout Georgia were prioritized in the use in wall and ceiling finishes, as well as furniture choices to bring the sense of home base.
